Up and Down

The blog has been down a couple of times over the past week.  On 26th January, it was hit by a deluge of traffic on the Republic Day posts and my account got suspended by Justhost as the site was taking up more than 10% of the system resources.  Had to install a cache plugin to get the issue sorted.

And then, the whole morning the site was down again for 4-5 hours for reasons iam yet to comprehend.  The service provider has acknowledged some problem and is looking into it.

Hope its just an aberration and things will be back to normal soon.

Its been raining here off and on (mostly heavily) for the past 3 days.  Its cold and overcast outside.  I can now understand how the English feel about their cold and damp weather all year round.  Not that iam complaining.  Its much better than the sweaty and sticky weather.

Meanwhile, have finished reading 2 more books.  Mobs Messiahs and Markets by Bill Bonner and Good to Great by Jim Collins.  Am yet to find time to write a review on both the books.  Will do so soon.  Hopefully over the Chinese New Year weekend starting on 3rd February.
