Pankaj Advani wins the World Billiards Championship

India has made a clean sweep at the World Billiards Championships, which were held in Singapore for the first time. It was an all-Indian final at both the point and time format, played over 10 days at the Orchid Country Club. In the time format finals, India’s Pankaj Advani was up against his coutryman Dhruv Sitwala.

22-year-old Advani was the defending champ in the event. And he showed his class, beating the older Sitwala over the six hours, with a score of 1946 points, against his opponent’s 1488.
